My heart breaks for the entire Schilling family. Helen showed such compassion and caring to my family when my father was diagnosed with esophageal cancer more than a year ago. She helped my family get the tests my dad needed at Madigan, and we were so grateful for her kindness, assistance and understanding. It's heartbreaking to realize that within a year both she and my dad suffered and died from the beast that is cancer. I share your family's grief and offer heartfelt condolences.

God saw your were tired and a cure was not meant to bem So he put his arms around you and whispered 'Come to Me.' With tearful eyes we all watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke out hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best. May you watch over us and be our guardian angel.

I was so sorry to hear that Helen has passed. She was a wonderful Mother & friend, and I regret so many years passed without seeing her. May the strength she possessed until the end pass to all family and friends that are mourning-she's in a better place with no pain.

My sincerest condolences to Helen's loved ones. I didn't know her as well as some, but she was always a joy to be around. Judging by her skills at the hand shocking game, she undoubtedly put up quite a fight. Rest in peace, Helen.

Helen was a great sister and sister in law.She was also our best friend. We will miss her terribly and our hearts go out to Al Tyler Ronnie and Alison for losing such a wonderful person. She showed great courage in her battle against the cancer (thats was her Scottish blood)and she is in heaven now with her mum and her nanna and I am sure she will always be looking down on us. Helen, You have truly shown me that size does not matter. For someone of your stature, you were without a doubt the biggest fighter I have ever seen! The size of you heart cannot even begin to get measured, although I think it is directly proportional to the width of your grin! You have touched so many lives an we will be forever grateful! You will truly be missed.

May God bless His angel, Helen, in this phase of her being eternally. I had the chance to spend time with Helen briefly, yet it turned out to be so much fun and filled with joy. Helen and Al sat next to me at the 2010 WA ANG awards banquet. It wasn't too long after the start of the banquet that the General noted we were the roudy table! For good reason - we had so much fun and Helen was right in the middle of that. May God provide Al and Ty with His peace now and his daughter Helen always!
