I went to Gault and Lincoln with Diana. I have such great memories of her; she was always cheerful and full of fun. I am so sorry for your loss.

I was very sad to hear the news about my aunt Diana. Even though I haven't ben in Washington much in the last 9 years, every time I saw her there was always a hug for me. I was able to coach her son Christopher's baseball team when he was 16 and saw how much she loved him and how much she cared about what was going on in his life. My and Angela's heart and best wishes go out to Uncle Bruce and Chris and Kristy in this difficult time. I hope to see all of you soon and take care. Marc Noel

I grew up next door to Diana and I have known Diana and her family all my life. It is a shock to all of us and our hearts go out to all of you. Diana always had a smile on her face and always had a laugh that was special only to her. I remember the day she had Christopher and how her life changed forever. She has always been a very proud mom. Then she met the man of her life, Bruce, and the smile never seemed to leave her face. I lost contact a bit with Diana but she never lost my heart. Our thougnts and prayers go out to the Hickey and Brearty families. Know that we are praying for you. An 'angel' truly is watching over you!

What a joy it was to talk to Diana in the morning when I was dropping off lunch money for my grandkids. All 3 went to Grant, and all 3 have great memories of Diana as they passed thru the lunch line. She knew all the kids by name, and it showed how much she loved being there every day. We will all miss her.

Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Diana, I have worked with her brother Mike, and he is a kind man,a good friend to all, and so it is easy to know Diana shared those qualities. It is the hardest thing to lose a loved one, and the loss of a beloved sister forever leaves an unfillable space in the fabric of the family. God bless the Brearty family and extended families and friends in this loss.
