~Mama Jewel~ Thanks for being part of my life. I learned lots of things from you. I learned some cooking secrets and will never know a better Ranch Cook! - I will never forget the summer we came to stay there when Darrell was little. Fishing. Bowling. Picking blackberries. Laughter. I am also grateful that my kids knew you as another Grandma and were able to see you when you came for visits to Carlsbad. I am so very glad you had your girls there with you at your passing, and were very well taken care of. Thanks for being part of our lives. Love and hugs for always, Kathy and Family

Dear Debbie and Donna- and the rest of Jewel's family We are sorry that your Mom left us, but we hope you are comforted knowing that she is in a better, pain-free, place! We always enjoyed seeing your Mom and listening to her stories and recipes. She was a real kick in the pants (we know where Debbie got her get up and go from!) and we will miss her. Take Care, Love Max and Kirstine

~Jewel~ Makes me sad that I didn't have a chance to come and see you. I have known you my whole life! I remember so much of my youth and you being in many of my memories. You are in a better place now, smiling down. You lived a long life, raised a beautiful family...you will be missed very much and never forgotten. Love Always, Hannah

Jewell will be sorely missed she was like a second mom to me growing up and always hanging out with Debbie at her home she would take us to the skate rink almost every weekend always had her door open for me. May she be flying with the angels now and enjoying eternity peace. For all the kids may god comfort you in this sad time. Love, Patty
