My deepest sympathy goes out to all of you at this difficult time . I feel very lucky to have spent alot of my younger years with Roger. From scouts to Madison and Gray and some of the years after highschool. Roger and I were always friends even if we didn't talk to each other daily . He was a good man and I will truly miss him!!

I use to change your diapers young man. Just had to go and leave us behind. It was suppose to be you and Gar after me. I will miss your face starring through my kitchen window and I not hearing you drive up!!!..... And that laugh-like snicker and the sparkly crinkly eyes cause you got me again!!..... You and Gar cooking up mischief of some kind from the time you were little and sharing with me with great laughter to you guys (me shaking my head in amazement).... Gar is out fishing in a derby at Hood Canal today and sure wished his favorite fishing buddy was with him. I love you and will see you in that grand place. I will look for you in the place of laughter and the sunshine of peace - Your Aunt Sharon.......

I was fortunate to have seen that wonderful smile and that twinkle in your eye on saturday. The day you,Todd and the guys were going for the ride to sun and surf. You were soooo jazzed to be going with them on your 'Harley', and of course me giving you a hard time before you left.I will always have this in my mind and heart. You will be missed and never forgotten and I know you are riding with a Angel by your side.

Roger will be greatly missed by those who loved him and knew him the best. He was a fun loving person who always had a talent for making people laugh. I have many fond memories of him from my childhood. We attended the same schools growing up and our families spent alot of time together on campouts and scouting events...He and my brother Mike were very good friends all though school and because of that I got to know him too. I feel blessed to have known him and to have gotten to spend so much time with such a great family. I am so sorry for this great loss and I hope that all will find comfort in knowing that you are not alone. Love and peace ~Deb

Roger will be greatly missed by all of those who know and love him the most. Memories of the Smith family are part of some of my most special childhood memories. The times we all spent together on campouts and scout outings will be cherished forever. Your Friend Deb
