Obituary of Barbara Ann Gardner

Barbara was born on February 28th 1955 in Seattle, WA and passed away October 24th 2010 in Burien, WA. She is survived by her daughter Christine Gardner, countless "adopted" children and numerous friends. I don't know where to start in telling a story about my Mom. Every day was a new adventure with a new story to tell when with her. She was the most loving, beautiful and amazing person I have ever met. I was proud to call her Mom, but she was also one of the best friends I've ever had as well. Although I was the only child she gave birth to, she had countless "adopted" children. She was a Mother to those who didn't have one and a second Mother to those who did. Her home was always filled with happiness, love and loud music! All I can hope for her is that wherever she is now that she's sitting somewhere with Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, George Harrison and John Lennon. I love you Mom and I will miss you.
