Although I had not seen Barb since high school I remember the times we spent hanging out at Jackie's house. Most of all I remember how sweet and accepting she was of everyone, no matter what 'group' you were associated with in school. She will be missed by everyone her life has touched.

She was an amazing, incredible woman that I was proud and happy to know. I remember going to my first concert with her and Christine and rocking out together for Lit; thinking how cool it was that she was there with us and having as much or more fun than we were. Sarcastic, honest, loving and tougher than anything. It didn't matter how long between visits, she was always so happy to see me with a big smile and a hug that rarely failed to cheer me up. I will miss her brilliant light, though I know bits of it shine in every life she touched.

I will best remember Barb @ our class gathering on 3/27/2010. I hadn't seen since we all left High School. We had a good time with classmates and reconnecting with one another. I thank Christine, Barb's daughter for taking her to our event. That was the last time I had seen Barb, and that's how I will remember her. Good times, and having fun. R.I.P. my dear friend Barb Gardner. Love and miss you, Gloria Wenger Kores

I never got to meet your mother... You always had great things to say about her, and I know that she suffered a lot these last many years. My heart and prayers go out to you. Know that she is in a better place, pain free...

I will never forget the memories in your basement! First time I hear Iron Butterfly from a whole different perspective! We would play that music so loud! Also have the memories of getting hit by a car on my horse in front of your house. Thanks for getting me some 'medication' for my bumps and bruises! Miss you Barb! God Bless your lovely soul! With deepest sympathy, Christi Tervo
