Obituary of Irene Winnifred Clarke

Irene Winnifred Clarke, (Winnie), born 28 April 1921, in Lambs River, Jamaica, West Indies, went on to meet her Savior Jesus Christ, on 26 October 2010. She was the Matriarch of the family. Winnie is survived by her only child, Veronica (Marlene), Stephens and her son in law Denton Stephens, of University Place, her grandchildren, Roxann McKissick, her husbannd Maurice, (Italy), grand children Nicole, (Tacoma, Washingon), Alexa, (Atlanta, Georgia), Denton (Kai), of University Place, great grandchildren, Saidah, Christian, Ian, Sidney, (Italy), Siena, (Atlanta, Georgia), Selassie, (Tacoma, Washington). Winnie was sister to, Ernest, Vincent, Lynn, and Pansy, (Jamaica), Gwendolyn, (Florida), and Cherry, (London), she was preceded in death by 6 siblings. She leaves behind many family friends to include Jose Murray of Tacoma, Washington, Ricardo Keen, of Atlanta, Georgia, Liz Bazemore, Lakewood, Washington, and many more in her beloved country, Jamaica, West Indies. She was loved by all who knew her. She leaves an empty space in all our hearts which can never be filled. She was a gentle and giving spirit and loved all she met.
