Those we love dont go away, They walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, Still loved, still missed and very dear. Wishing the family of Mrs. Irene 'Winnie' Clark hope in the midst of sorrow, Comfort in the midst of pain. GOD has called his faithful servant home and took all of her pains away! Veronica I love you and I will continue to keep you and your family in my prayers!

I lived with Aunty Winnie at New Lincoln and I remeber when were expecting Hurricane Gilbert and I had a project to turn in at school (I was attending college at the time) and I wanted to go because the teacher said she was not going to extend the deadline and Aunty Winnie was saying Denise you cant go a storm is coming, and I was insisting that I have to go. Afterwards I said OK I will wait unil later today when the storm has passed and she said 'yuh a young bud (bird) yuh nuh know storm' Whenever I hear that proverb I remember my Aunty Winnie. Sleep on Beloved RIP

Too The Stephens Family: Veronica, Denton, and Children: My heart and prayers are with you especially today. I am remembering the day I met Ms. Winnie, and when Veronica her sweet daughter brought her here, my most memoriable moment was when we took her to the fireworks, 4th of July outing in Steilacoom, I had a ball just watching her beautiful face light up with the fireworks, I told the Police she was from Jamaica, and they escorted her across the brige, she was so elated with this experience, it gave me such joy to be a part of her experience. A special note to Veronica, I love you, and be glad in knowing you served your mother and honored her in the highest form possible while she yet lived, GOD bless you and family, now and always. Love, Friend Liz Bazemore

From Olga Williams sister of the deceased Irene Wnnifred Clarke. Sister Winnie, as she was called by all of us sisters and brothers, you see she was the eldest of 12 born to Rose and Selvin clarke Lambs river westmoreland jamaica. She was one of my best friends her love her kindness, she was willing to listen to us when we had problems and she never forgot a birtday or anniversary date and time she never forget. Sister Winnie was the matriarch of our family and she will be missed by all of us who survived her. As the apostle paul said 'But we have this treasure in earthly vessels that the excellence of the power maybe of God and not in us.R.I.P Sis walk good
