To family and friends: Your memories of Jim are heartfelt and remind me that Jim had meaning in your life. He was extraordinary. As long as there is a memory, he will live forever in our hearts. I want to thank you for your sympathy and support during this difficult time. The outpouring of love for Jim surprised me. If he had only known while he was alive that he was so loved. This past year was very trying, knowing that we could only take one day at a time, not knowing when the final day would arrive. Each day we would give thanks and loved each other as never before. So often we take each other for granted. My advice is love each other and tell each other, every day 'I love you'. There will be no regrets when there is no more time to say 'I'm sorry' . Love is the answer. I found it in loving Jim and I miss him terribly. Time will heal my broken heart. But I will never forget the love we shared. We where soulmates. Jim would have wanted it that way. I love you all, God Bless You and May He Keep You Safe, Healthy and Forever in His Love. Margaret

Dear Margaret, we forget the actual date that Cuddy started working for Duffy's Taxi, but believe it was somewhere in 1996 or 1997. In April of 1999, you and Jim asked us if we wanted to buy Duffy's Taxi. It was a hard decision, but we did and on May 1, 1999 we were the proud owner's of Cuddy's Taxi. You and Jim were our close friends and backbone and we truly miss Jim, his stories and his incredible laugh. We know that this is a very difficult time for you, but you have so many great friends who are here to offer help and a strong shoulder anytime you need it. Cuddy and Joannie

What more can be said about the MAN. I have often wondered, if I were in his shoes would I be as completely and totally positive as Duffy is? A true man of strength. Every time he rode by our boat shop, if he didn't stop, he would turn his head, smile that infectious smile and wave. I will miss that joyful feeling I would get when I would hear him comin thru the door. I just knew my day was going to be better because Duffy took the time to stop in and say hi. To Margaret and the family, our love and prayers are with you. If there is anything we can do for you, please don't hesitate to call. We will see him again.

Margaret, My heart and prayers go out to you and the family. 'Duff' was one great guy. Always willing to help and always with a clever quip or joke. He was always with laughter and a good story to tell. He and Earl got along great with stories of motorcycles, tractors and things. Lk. Tapps area will never be the same. He was the kingpin of our little neighborhood. He was the busiest man I knew. Always doing, or going somewhere He and Earl are probably up there right now comparing all their notes from the past. Duff will be missed by all who knew him.

I treasured having Jim as a friend and neighbor. He was always there to share his kindness and joys in life with gusto. I feel very fortunate to have known him and his loving wife, Margaret, even in the small way that I did ... they will always be in my prayers.
