Obituary of William Sherman Harmon
“The Greatest Generation”
Born 4/10/1920 in the Manila, Philippines and passed away unexpectedly 8/20/2007 after an accident at his workplace. Bill was an incredible man who was still working full time at the age of 87. During his life he spent 20 plus years in the Army where he retired, then later worked for the Dept. of Labor & Industries for 36 ½ years. His main joy in life was spending time with his family and co-workers.

Bill is survived by his loving daughter, Hilda (Hal Wehrman) Harmon; 4 grandchildren, Megan (Paul) Evans, Mary (Matthew) Clark, Steven Harmon, Katie Harman; and all of his loving work family at Labor & Industries.
A celebration of Bill’s life will be held 11AM Saturday, Sept. 15 at Dept. of Labor & Industries Auditorium, 7273 Linderson Way SW , Tumwater, WA 98501.
