I use to meet and hang out with Jerry at Hank Williams III shows...I am from Idaho and would travel to Washington and Oregon to hang out and enjoy good music and good friends...The last time I saw Jerry he saw me in Idaho on one of his Harley trips...I was in a lonely and dark time in my life and called his number and talked to his mom not too long after he passed...I've thought about him often over the years and look forward to seeing him again one day!!!

I have many fond memories of Jerry. He was a man who cared deeply about all of his friends and had way of making them all feel important. He went out of his way on many occaisions for me and others and honestly thought nothing of it. He had more friends than anyone I've ever known and for those of us who knew him, it easy to understand why. When I first met him I was at a pub having some dinner. Jerry came walking in and no time he struck up a conversation with me. After seeing how sincere and friendly of guy he was I invited him to sit next to sit closer so we could hear each other better and didn't have to talk so loud. We were friends instantly. We will all miss Jerry.

Jerry will never be forgotten, neither by friends nor by family. It seems to me that Jerry made a friend where ever he went, and no one was ever a stranger for long. I know that he is now with Grandma and 'Pal' and they certainly opened up their arms and greeted him with a great big hug. Jerry we will miss you, but I take great comfort in knowing you are with our grandparents.

Our families were entertwined when Uncle Walt married Aunt Linda. Jerry and my Nephew Jay became best friends when they both worked for Uncle Walt sd young men. Now they can renew that friendship again. Judy and your family have experienced the largest loss of all.

Jerry will always have a special place in my heart. I appreciated his warm smiles, great hugs and genuine concern for everyone he knew. The exT-F group will have a huge space left that only he could fill. I send my heartfelt condolences to his mother and family as I know what a huge loss this is for you. Jerry There is comfort in knowing you are smiling down on each of us every day!

Jerry was quiet and unassuming, but truly embodied the phrase 'still waters run deep.' He would call to check in - not because he had anything specific to say on his part, but to make sure everything was okay for the rest of us. Jerry was a good, honorable man and a supportive cousin. He will be sorely missed and remembered often. Rest peacefully, my friend.

Jerry was a great neighbor and friend. My husband and I looked forward to visiting with him 'across the alley' and chatting daily. Jerry was always keeping an eye on the neighborhood and it made me feel safe in our sometimes sketchy neighborhood to know that he was home and keeping a watchful eye. Jerry was so happy for us when we welcomed our son into the world and he always made a point to talk to the baby when we saw him. My sincere sympathy to Jerry's family. He will be missed.
