I am so sorry for your families loss. Although I only knew Karen for a short time near the end, I found her to be a caring and kind person. Karen went through a shared experience as myself, and she and Debbie were one of the few people I found who truly could understand. I was grateful to have known Karen, even if for a short time. Her memorial was a great tribute to her life, and her memory will live on as she goes on her journey. My thoughts are with you Debbie and family.

When Karen and I worked together at Children's Dental, she always made me laugh. We used to giggle about the silliest things and no one else would even know what we were laughing about but us. She was a good friend. I remember when the Twin Towers fell and all those people died. Karen I and were reading the paper together and crying together. I will never forget that and I will never forget her. She will be greatly missed. I love you Karen.

Debbie, Janet and Family: I am so very sorry for your loss. It is especially difficult as you just went through the loss of your Mom. From many discussions with Debbie, I felt I knew Karen and her incredible strength. What a strong, woman she was and she did not give into her illness until she was completely ready to join her Mom. Karen can be happy and whole again now, especially knowing that all her 'children' are loved and well cared for. :-) Sheri ~

Karen, Although I do not know you as a close friend nor a family member, I feel that I do know you through Debbie. Being a sister of Debbie, I can imagine that you also touched the lives of many people through your joyful smile and kind heart. You are in a better place now and may your spirit and joy always dwell in the hearts of your loved ones and your 4 legged family of pets. Many prayers are coming your way as well as to comfort your family and friends. Rest well in the joy of the Lord. Deb Ramirez (a Pierce College friend of your sister, Debbie)

'THE HEART THAT CARES REMEMBERS' and my heart remembers you Karen. We worked together for how many years ?? A lot. We worked hard,we laughed even harder. You always shared funny, happy memories about your family. The love for your daughter always showed through. You were VERY detailed about everything you did -- can I say you THRIVED on detail(smile). Always the first one to get to work with EVERYTHING wiped down and ready to go. You polished the polish honey. Incredible work ethics. YOU were (are)loved and will be GREATLY missed. I am at a loss for words as I just recently learned of your passing, Karen. I spoke with your sister, Debbie, and she graciously shared with me about your passing. You and I went through elementary, junior high and most of high school together. Your daughter, Sarah, was a great kid and I enjoyed tutoring her when she was in elementary school. You were so kindhearted, loving, and caring. I will never forget you, dear lady. I believe you are with Jesus and suffering no more pain. God bless you, my friend until I see you again.
