On this day, April 18, 1953, Paul Allan Hargrove began his journey in
Rock Springs, Wyoming. He was the second child born to Henry and Eloise Hargrove.
He took his wings and ended his journey February 22, 2024 in Puyallup Washington
Many people joined him on his journey, three of which were siblings; Linda, Charles and Phillip. Two daughters eventually came into his life, Rachel {Mike} and Jenessa.
His wife, Mary, journeyed along his side for 24 years, adding her three children , Bryon{ Camille}, Jamie {Todd} and Kelly.,
After 32 years at Chambers Creek Waste Water Treatment Plant as an instrument technician , Paul retired in 2018. This gave him the time to enjoy his family, farm and many projects.
Paul enjoyed square dancing where he made many friends. His boat club was another interest and he spent many hours with other members building and showing their RC boats. He had a passion for gardening and studied to become a Master Gardener. He was often accompanied by one of his grandchildren in these pursuits; Lexi, Jayson, Keara, Zach, Lily or Taliesin. He claimed Nya as an "adopted" granddaughter as part of the group when she entered his life. If he couldn't enroll a grandchild in his projects there was always his dog, Anna by his side.
Paul will be forever missed and never forgotten. "His wings were ready but our hearts were not".
A celebration of his life will take place this summer on the farm. Details will be posted at a later date.
