Obituary of Wanda Frances Gargurevich

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our mother, Wanda Frances Gargurevich. Born April 6th, 1956 to Otis and Grace Polly, she sadly passed away on December 22nd, 2023 in Tacoma, WA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Gargurevich and survived by her sons Clinton Gargurevich and Lewis (Kizzie) Gargurevich; grandsons Elijah, Paxton, and Lennon Gargurevich; sisters Carol Duval, Peggy Bergstrom, Joan (Brian) Rupe; and brother Steve (Sharon) Polly. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews, family, and friends.

Wanda was a hard working, thoughtful, and caring woman. She enjoyed spending time with her sons and grandsons who she spoiled relentlessly. An avid gardener who worked in her flower and vegetable gardens for many years and tended to them with care. She was a wonderful cook and loved trying new recipes. Her presence will be dearly missed in many different moments of our lives.

A celebration of life followed by reception will be held on January 26th, 2024 at 12:00pm at Edwards Memorial, 11020 South Tacoma Way Lakewood, WA 98499. We invite family and friends to join us in remembering the life of our dear mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
