Obituary of Lando Piteg Towai

Lando Piteg Towai left our physical world on January 4th, 2024. He shared his precious light with this world for a mere 394 days. 

 

Lando was the type of baby that was always smiling. His smile lit up a room no matter where he was. He was curious. He was happy. He was just starting to learn how to walk. He was adventurous and he loved spending time with his family. He was also such a momma’s boy. 

 

He did not have much time here with us but the time he did have made so many beautiful memories. He will be forever missed by his family. There are so many family members that he never even had the pleasure to meet. And still his light reached them through pictures and through his Mom and Dad. 

 

Lando’s spirit will always be with us and his memory will live in the hearts of all who loved him forever. He will continue to watch over all of us from his place in heaven. We all know that he sits up there smiling down on all of us, as he did when he was still here. 

 

It’s hard to understand why something like this would happen. It’s hard to accept that Lando’s time on earth has come to end after only a bit over a year. It’s hard to imagine his big brother and baby sister growing up in a world without their sweet brother. He will live on in their minds and their memories through the rest of the family’s stories of him. 

 

Baby Lando was pure love in human form. There will not be a day that goes by that he will not be thought of or missed. We love you Lando. Fly high with the angels sweet boy, until we see you again.

 

Lando’s service will be held at Edward’s Memorial in Lakewood on Thursday January 18th, 2024 at 12pm. The service will have a potluck setting if you’d like to contribute some snackable foods.
