Obituary of Paul David Carlson

Paul David Carlson 

 

           April 22 1970    -       November 4 2023 

 

Paul was born in Kansas City Missouri to Parents John Carlson & Donah Greiner, 

where he lived for the first few years of his life . Relocating to Parkland Washington, Paul would live his life until the age of 53. 

 

He attended Brookdale Elementary, Keithly Jr. High School, & Washington High School where he was involved in sports & other extracurricular activities.

 

He attended Trinity Lutheran Church in Parkland & studied through to confirmation. One of Paul’s many talents was playing the guitar, which he did mostly for himself, but also for friends & family. 

 

Paul was very proud of his Norwegian heritage. He attended functions with his grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Einer P. Fauske from time to time.

 

He was very fond of growing up in Parkland where he learned his way around extremely well. He made many friends, acquaintances, & business contacts and lived happily there for over 50 years. 

 

Professionally, Paul was a skilled carpenter. He worked for multiple businesses, as well as himself, & donated many jobs to friends and family. 

 

Paul is loved dearly by his family & friends. He had an amazing smile. He was witty & intelligent. He had a wonderful sense of humor. He had a broad knowledge about many things. He was very well spoken & had a passion for the meaning of words & their usage. 

 

He shared what he had with many people, and did whatever he could to help them. He was a generous person. 

 

He will be dearly missed by all who knew & loved him throughout his life.

 

Paul was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Einer P. Fauske, his father John Carlson, & his daughter, Kelsea Carlson. 

 

Paul is survived by his mother Donah Greiner, his sister Katie Eriksen, daughter Serena Carlson, & grandchildren Maya, Harper, & Kalea. 

 

A memorial celebration of life for Paul Carlson will be held at Edwards Memorial in Lakewood on Friday December 15 2023 at 7 PM for all family and friends that would like to attend.
