Obituary of Nicholas Warren Adrian

Our dear friend and loved one, Nicholas “Nick” Warren Adrian, 44, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 peacefully in his home. Nick was born on March 28, 1979 in Lakewood, WA. He graduated from Spanaway Lake High school in 1997, followed by Clover Park Technical College with a College Certificate of accomplishment on June 27, 2001 in Diesel Mechanics. Following college, Nick was employed by the Pacific Rail Service, Grondahl’s Concrete Pumping, Inc., and Greenbrier Companies; where he held the positions of General and Master Mechanic over the years. Nick was known to be very skilled in his profession. He had a mind for mechanics and was talented in multiple areas. He worked on and rebuilt many different types of equipment and machinery in his time. When Nick was not working, he loved spending time with his children, family, & friends. One of his favorite ways to spend his time was out on the water fishing. Many people who knew Nick would tell you how kind- hearted he was, often times being called a “big teddy- bear”, loved good food, loved animals, and had such a great smile. He loved his friends and family very much.

He is survived by his children, Natalie M. Adrian and Alexander N. Adrian; his mother and stepfather Sandra and Jerry LaPlante; his stepmother Paula Adrian; his former wife Michele (Natalie’s Mother) (Jeoff) Vandersluis; his siblings, Monica (Jerome) Ruiz, Brady (Lacey) Finley and Step-siblings:, Christopher (Rachel) Lamm, Jerry LaPlante Jr., Eugene Thomas, Crystal Thomas, Tiffany LaPlante, his grandfather Clifford D Mayfield, and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his Grandmother Gertrude A. Cox on March 28, 2004, his father Warren D. Adrian on February 21, 2015, and his Grandmother Gloria E. Mayfield on March 27, 2015.

Nick was loved by so many and will be missed by all.
