Obituary of Bounkeua Phakoxay

Bounkeua Phakoxay was born on May 2, 1949, in Savannakhet, Laos, and passed away on August 21, 2023, in Renton, Washington. 

He is survived by his wife Khamphane Phakoxay and three daughters; Joy Hoang, Phetsamai Jesus, and Mandy Hynek along with numerous extended family members and loving friends.

He led his life with love, courage, resiliency, ambition, and determination.  He was a dedicated father and provided well for his family.  He was a great support to extended family members and friends.  He will be remembered for all the joy he brought to the lives of so many people. We all will miss his singing and happy spirit.

His service will be held on September 3, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Edwards Memorial.
