Obituary of Robert Hildebrandt

Robert (Bob) Hildebrandt, age 74, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on August 9, 2023.

Bob was born on June 24, 1949 in Vancouver WA to Gordon and Ariel (Gage) Hildebrandt. He graduated from Hoquiam High School in 1968 where he became an avid Hoquiam Grizzlies fan.  He will be remembered for his love of the Seahawks, watching his races on any given Sunday,  grilling in the back yard, his love and collection of tall ships and always being up for a trip to Frisko Freeze for his favorite burger.  

He is survived by his Wife Karin, Daughters Shelley (John) Miller and Jami (Billy) Hurst, Grandchildren Alexander Valentine, Dontae Divens, Valencia Rivera, Robert (Megan) Diaz, Marcel Huggins, Brittney and Madison Hurst, Greatgrandchildren Jaydon, Khalil, Aniyah, Alexander Jr, Jerimiah, Amelia and Camill. Brother Michael (Carole) Hildebrandt, Sisters Barbara Bagley and Kay (Richard) Bloomingdale along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

He is proceeded by his parents Gordon and Ariel, brother Gordon Jr, granddaughter Megan and great-granddaughter A'Aliyah.

Viewing will be held on August 21, 2023 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at Edwards Memorial 11020 S Tacoma Way Lakewood, WA 98499.

We will be gathering at Frisko Freeze at 5:00pm in his honor.
