Obituary of Paula G Valdivia

Paula G. Valdivia (Anderson), passed away peacefully in her sleep, at her home in Tacoma, WA on June 28, 2023. She was born August 1, 1955, in Lancaster, California to Lloyd and Gladys. Paula is survived by one brother, Dennis Anderson; one son, Carlos N. Valdivia (Wife LaTreshia); three daughters, Ciara G. Nobles (Husband Willie), Melissa D. Valdivia (Husband Marcus), Tia M. Valdivia; and 14 grand-children: Shyhem, Masiah, Malachi, Emmanuel, Jamarcus, Amira, Micah, Dayvanie, Nasik, Makarram, Major, Zahra, Mason, and Willie Jr. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos N. Valdivia. 

Paula loved spending time with family; her children and her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She loved horses, balloons, pinwheels and the color blue. She loved her best friend, Tony and their dog, Bella Luna. When she wasn’t with those two, she was busy hanging with her sister-in-law Shelly, as those two were inseparable. But her biggest love was for Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior. 

The family will be holding an intimate memorial at the home of Tony Purvis, Paula’s dearest friend on a later date.
