Obituary of Muriel Jean Watts

The past year had been a difficult one for Muriel, as she grieved the death of her husband, Al. In conversations with her these past few weeks while she lay bedbound at Penrose Harbor following a significant fall, she was quite clear that she was ready to join Al. She is survived by her three children: Brad, Tim, Leanne, and their families. The family anticipates a private, interment service. For those who would like to remember her together, we will have a Sharing Circle in the Upstairs Lounge this Sunday, following the 10 am service.

Almighty God, our Father in heaven, before whom live al/ who die in the Lord: Receive our sister Muriel into the courts of your heavenly dwelling place. Let her heart and soul now ring out in joy to you, O Lord, the living God, and the God of those who live. This we ask through Christ our Lord. Amen.
