Obituary of Sheila Diane Bertucci- Root

Sheila Bertucci 

June 23rd, 1944- December 16th 2022

 

December 16th our Mom gained her wings, and rejoined her heavenly family. 

 

Sheila (Mom) was the center of our family the true meaning of a matriarch. She kept us all together. She was not just a mom to her children but to our friends, significant others and anyone that needed a “mom”.

She was a woman of strong Catholic faith and prayed the rosary regularly.

Mom had an impeccable sense of fashion and was always put together from head to toe. Her great taste and love of all things beautiful gave her an amazing artistic inspiration. She had a knack for arranging the most beautiful floral arrangements and center pieces, especially for all of our family events. She was also the most amazing gift giver. Sheila has always had a compassionate heart; over the last few years she rescued animals that were in need of a loving home. 

She loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren unconditionally.

She will forever be Mom, Grams and Shi Shi. We will miss her more than words can describe. It comforts us knowing that all of her loved ones and her sweet fur babies welcomed her into heaven.
