Obituary of Darlene Rose Stephenson
Darlene Rose Stephenson lost her battle with Levy Body dementia on January 13, 2022. She was born to Eugene and Ida Riedel on October 26, 1939 in Hays Kansas. She married Darrell Stephenson on November 9, 1957. She is survived by her brother Richard Riedel, her sister in law Maryanne Riedel and by her children Lorrie Kay Barsana, Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Stephenson, Mr. and Mrs Cecil Stephenson, LeaAnn Stephenson and Mr. and Mrs Tracey Stephenson also she leaves 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Darlene loved to travel and even went to Europe. She was proud of her gardens especially her roses. She paled around with her best friend Joyce went to the casino and thrift stores. She loved her dogs Willie, Stanley, Daisy Mae and Izzy. Darlene was vivcious, had a great sense of humor, her laugh was contagious she was headstrong full of spirit and life. Her family was her greatest joy. Darlene was beloved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
There will be a viewing on January 28, 2022, at 1000am, followed by a funeral mass at 1100am at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic church in Federal Way. Graveside services will be held at Mt View Cemetery, Auburn, WA on Monday at 1015am.
