Obituary of John Joseph Walsh

John J. Walsh passed away on October 8th, 2021 in Auburn, WA. He had been sick a number of years. John was born in Fond du Lac, WI to Victor and Dorothy M. Walsh on September 21st, 1930. His parents and his sister, Pat preceded him in death, and one niece and granddaughter. John graduated high school in 1949. He was employed by Beabrie Food for 20 years, he played minor league softball, and he was drafted into the Marine Corps. John married Marcie M. Walsh in 1954. They have 3 children, Joe, Joana, and Mark (Cindy), 8 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. He was very active in Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Eagle Scouts, and also in his church. He umpired softball for many years and voted umpire of the year for 3 years in a row! He will be loved and missed by many.
