A man who believed family is our greatest legacy.

His Grandchildren Elisa Velasquez  and Victor L. Velasquez, Jr.

Great-grand children Jordyn, Taleaha, Eli, Emmalinda, and soon baby boy Victor Velasquez who will be the 4th generation of Victor  Velasquez's.

Victor served in the US Army for 22 years. Two wars, Korean and Vietnam where he did 3 tours. He was a Staff Sergeant (E-6) and performed many duties but one he was most proud of was working with medics in Vietnam in the field to aid soldiers in need of blood. He retired in 1969.

Remaining ever committed to the military, Victor became a civil servant on Fort Lewis, (JBLM)  where he worked at Madigan Army Hospital in the Dietary Services for 20 years.

Pop's enjoyed many years of retirement surrounded by those he loved. He and Alice traveled back and forth to California numerous times to be with extended family members. They enjoyed trips to Canada and Mazatlan, Mexico.

He has touched so many lives and has always been the calm, quiet Patriarch of our family. Pop's you are already so missed. Until we meet again. We love you.
