Allen Thomas Thiessen

Born in Daegu, South Korea.
Naturalized a U.S. citizen August 18, 1976.
Graduated from Zwiebruchen High School in 1984.
Enlisted in the Army in 1986.
Attended USMAPS 1988-1989
Graduated USMA West Point 1993
Army aviator. OH-58 and AH-64 pilot.
Overseas tours in Germany, Italy, Iraq, Kuwait, Kosovo, and Korea.
Retired 2017.
Volunteered for Red Cross and Special Olympics.
Survived by wife Kristine (nee Grund); daughter Lauren; sons Kenneth, Timothy, Brendan, and Gavin; parents Hyon Hui (nee Shin) and Timothy V. Thiessen; brother Wayne; and sister Jennifer Prietz
