Obituary of Linda Ann Robinson

Linda Ann Robinson, 73, of University Place, Washington, crossed over on June 15th, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her family after a lengthy battle with lung cancer. Throughout this time, she was the epitome of courage, strength, and determination.

Linda was born in El Paso, Texas where she resided until moving to Washington in 2017. While a resident of El Paso, she graduated from Irvin High School and became a successful and highly respected businesswoman. She was the owner of New Era Mortgage for many years, where she was esteemed by members of the community for the level of professionalism and integrity with which she always conducted herself. In addition to her professional accomplishments, she was most proud to be a mother and grandmother, always crediting this as her greatest accomplishment in life. Linda was a stellar example of what a strong woman is. She committed a great amount of time to her grandchildren, leaving an honorable legacy representative of who she was.

Because of her instant connection with the Pacific Northwest, it became a lifelong dream to move to Washington and have her family all together. One of her favorite pastimes was exploring the state and learning about the nature and culture around her. She was also an exceptional seamstress and was proud to have passed that talent onto her grandchildren who continue to follow in her footsteps. She was an avid dancer and would stop whatever she was doing to dance when “Footloose” came on the radio. Linda will always be remembered for her smile that lit up a room. Even as she struggled with cancer, she had a smile and a kind word for anyone who needed it.

Linda was preceded in death by her grandparents, Emmett and Vera Laurence and the love of her life, her husband of 40 years, Tony Robinson.

She is survived by her children, Dennis A. Robinson (son) and his wife, Emilie Zuffrey, and Amy Caudillo (daughter); her two grandchildren, Tiffany Amber and Isabella Grace; Melonie Fernandez (niece) and Todd Cole (nephew), and several great nieces and nephews.

Cremation services are being provided by Edwards memorial. The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life pending Covid-19 regulations.
