I knew Bev before I met Ken. For quite some time I would be talking and laughing with Ken at the at the old PacWest/Bally's and on occasion playing tennis with Ken and his men's group early in the morning. Imagine my surprise when I found out that Ken and Bev were married! Ken was always so upbeat and so caring about everyone around him. He was so proud of his family and shared so many wonderful stories. Was a difficult time for Ken when Bev was ill and he would good naturedly grumble about having to do some housework and cooking but still came through with flying colors...lol! Ken would be a regular at LAFitness after Bev passed and was always keeping busy with his family and friends. Think he was surprised that he had met yet another wonderful partner in Jeanne. We were all so happy for Ken and Jeanne when they decided to marry. What a wonderful life Ken had and he took care of so many around him. So grateful to have known Ken!!!

Dr. Graham was my primary doctor for many years. I remember when he called me at my office to give me the title of a book on aerobics that he thought would be good for me. He knew that I took it seriously when we met at the starting line of the Sound to Narrows Race. I guess he knew what he was doing. I’ll be 80 on my next birthday. — Charles Rice, Tacoma

Dr. Graham welcomed me into the medical community when I arrived and was always supportive and helpful to me in my early years here. Dr. Graham became a respected and admired colleague, greeting me with a firm handshake and a smile for many years whenever we met. His patients loved him, his colleagues thought the very best of him. I never heard anyone say anything bad about Dr. Graham, nor did I ever hear Dr. Graham say anything bad about anyone else.
Dr. Graham had a huge and permanent impact on our community..
I am better for knowing him and for working with him.
I cherish his memory.
My Condolences and My Best Wishes to the Graham family.

I first met Ken at Bally's tennis center in Tacoma when I was just a beginning tennis player at the young age of 63. Fortunately, meeting Ken made me realize the game did not have to be all that serious. Ken, as everyone knows, always had a smile and he was one of the first players I met and he made sure I knew that all the tennis players in his group had been brand new tennis players at one time. He made me feel welcomed, introduced me to his friends and I never looked back. I still play tennis and try to pay forward Doc's cheerful enthusiasm to new players I meet. He was a real gem of a gentleman on the courts!

My family was so lucky to have Dr. Graham as our family doctor for many years. The Graham family also built a beautiful home across the street from my in laws on north Shirley street. In later years I met up again with Dr. Graham in the oncology department at Tacoma General hospital. Together we observed our loving spouses being treated for cancer.
My thoughts and prayers go out to The Graham family
