Obituary of Heather Charisse Kristovich Smith

Heather Charisse Kristovich Smith

07/28/1979-03/22/20

Heather was born on July 28, 1979 in Tacoma, WA. Her family moved to Vista in 1985 where she developed her love of the ocean. Her family moved back to the Puyallup area in 1991 where she grew up. Heather grew up in a large family where cousins and aunts/uncles were always around. Her Grandparents had acreage where Heather loved to play outside with her cousins, usually playing kick the can and making a Humphrey cry, ride pigs and tend to Grandma Jeans garden in the greenhouse. As the oldest child, Heather was a leader and protector of her brother and sister all her life. Heather was an active and busy young girl. At age 6 she began her love of soccer and played nonstop through her school years. She loved the outdoors, camping, being a campfire girl, playing the clarinet, all animals, traveling, having BBQ’s, bonfires and most of all, fishing. In her free time Heather loved spending time with her kids, being with her friends, and camping adventures with her family and extended family. Heather graduated from Rogers High School in 1997. She went on to attend Green River Community College. She worked in the healthcare field for almost 20 years. She loved being a mom dancing around the house with music getting ready for the day, doing yardwork together and watching them grow. Heather had a smile that would light up any room she walked in. If you knew her, she loved you. Her laughter, sense of humor, her brutal honesty, tell you how it is, are just a few words used to describe her.

Heather is survived by her 3 beautiful children, Elijah (17), Amara (9) and Cambria (7) her parents, David and Rebekah Kristovich, brother Justin (Haley) Kristovich, sister Mandy (Keegan) Williams, half-brother Donald Kristovich. Grandfathers Robert Holt and George (Sarah) Kristovich. Nephews Grady, Beau and Luke and Niece Zoey. Aunts Sharon Gallick, Patty (Scott) Humphreys, Chris (Jim) Ohlinger, Sue (O’Neil) Watson, so many Cousins and Friends that became Family.

A memorial service for Heather is being planned for a later date at this time. If you would like to contribute to “Heathers Garden” our family is welcoming any live plants, trees or shrubs to help build a memorial for her on her family’s farm. All family and loved ones will be notified when a date is established for the memorial.
