Obituary of Henry Melvin Hamptonie

Henry Melvin Hamptonie III, affectionately known as “Hank” was born on October 26, 1950 to his loving parents Leah Vivian Russell and Henry Melvin Hamptonie in the City of Angels. Henry was the eldest of two children, William Stephan “Billy” Hamptonie.  He had two children of his own, Danita Marie Hamptonie and Henry Melvin Hamptonie IV.  Henry was preceded in death by both of his parents, his brother, and his son.  In the late 1970s, my dad decided to pack up his Volkswagen Bug, and he and his poodle, Fee-Fee, left the Sunshine State and migrated to the Evergreen State, Washington.  My dad loved the Evergreen State because of its abundance of rainfall and its beautiful resemblance of nature.  My dad loved nature.  His hobbies were fishing and walking in the rain.  My dad remained in the Great Northwest until he became afflicted with an ischemic heart disease that defeated him on January 18, 2020.  My dad leaves to cherish his loving memories, his daughter, Danita Hamptonie; granddaughters, Jamecia, Little Danita, and Okneca; great grandchildren, Jayda, Caleb, Carter, and Justice; and family and friends.  Daddy, I know you have fallen asleep in death, but Jesus said, “The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life.” (John 11:23-25) I look forward to seeing you in the Paradise.  I will cherish our love, laughs, cries, and memories in my heart forever.  I love you Daddy, and I will NEVER forget you!!!
