Obituary of George Lewis LaCross

George Lewis LaCross lost his battle with cancer on August 13, 2019. George was born December 13, 1957, to John J. LaCross and Gunda S. LaCross. George grew up in Fircrest, Washington and graduated from Wilson High School in 1975. George had a great love for baseball and spent many years coaching his sons’ teams. His favorite baseball player was Roberto Clemente. George is survived by his wife Rachelle (Davies) LaCross, his seven children: Christopher LaCross, Brittaney (Jadd) LaCross, Shawn Minchew, Tiffaney LaCross, Jasmine Minchew, Justin LaCross, and Alexander LaCross. His grandchildren: Dameon O’Reilly, Samantha O’Reilly, Autumn LaCross, JayLynn Allen, Ireland O’Reilly, John O’Reilly, Aspyne LaCross, Steven Meyer, Isabelle Meyer, Leah Meyer, and Kaleo Charfauros. His father John J. LaCross, brother John R. LaCross, and sister Mona (John) Leppell. He was preceded in death by his mother and brother Mike LaCross.

A Memorial Service will be held to remember George on Saturday, August 24, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 8615 176th Street East, Puyallup, Washington 98375. Reception to follow, please feel free to bring a side dish, main course will be provided.
