Lawrence Garsed Frantz Lawrence was born July 7, 1948 in Seattle, WA and passed away October 9, 2017 in University Place, WA. Larry Frantz went to be with his Lord and Savior on Oct. 9, 2017 after a short and hard-fought battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Seattle July 7, 1948, he is survived by his wife, Miriam; sons Marshall (Rebekah), Andrew (Stephanie) and David; four grandchildren; his mother, Jean; brothers Jim (Lynda), Ken (Cheri), Marty (Cindy), Wally (Pat), and many nieces and nephews. Larry held a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from WSU and an MBA from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He worked for Hercules, Inc. in Hopewell, Virginia for 14 years and retired after 22 years with Boeing. Larry enjoyed project planning, reading science fiction and wind surfing. A highlight of retirement for Larry was to help build 2 footbridges and a medical incinerator shed in Haiti. A service honoring and celebrating Larry’s life will be held on Saturday, October 28 at 11:00 at Rainier View Christian Church, 7420 224th St E, in Graham.
