Some words from my remembrance at our service on Monday, December 29, 2008: With a strength of character sprinkled liberally with love and caring, and an abundant dose of good humor, and guided by her love of God, Mom was a special person, and an inspiration to those close to her....she indeed showed us how to live and how to love. She taught us some important lessons: no excuses - family and love are paramount be there when youre needed trust in God. We have all been blessed by having Thelma Rose Mishler in our lives and having been touched by her. We will all miss her. As for me, shell always be my hero, and as I look around at our family and loved ones, I will always see a little of her in each of us. I thank God for giving her to our family as our Mom, and I pray to God that I will always be worthy of her. Ill miss you Mom, I love you Mom. Thanks for being there.

Grandma, I will always remember you as I last saw you, loving, caring, and so full of wisdom and advice. You were so much a part of our whole family, the real foundation stone. I know you are in a much better place, waiting for us in the Kingdom of Heaven. I am sorry that I was not home to be with you when you passed, but you will be in my prayers. With all my Love, Angela

I wish I could have been home to see Grandma off, but I know she is in a better place now, and is waiting for us. I will miss her, but I know I will see her again someday. I will visit her grave once I am home.

My life was Blessed when Thelma and Dave entered it. I will always thank God for His Gift that led me to a Spiritual Family of Love, Caring and Devotion to each other. Thelma mended those parts of me that were hurting, broken and empty. Her greatest gift was that of Herself. Thelma touched my life with Love and Faith, but her greatest gift was her ADOPTING me and calling me her Daughter. I send my Love to All her Family, Care Takers, and Friends. God Bless You All and those you carry in your hearts. Love, Jeannie (AKA) Grammanene

We read the article about Thelma passing on and we send our condolences. We viewed the video and it was very well done. We saw out house. We remember your visit and you are welcome to visit the old house anytime. The street number has been changed to #4 due to a re-numbering program by the city. God Bless. Bill and Sue Kelly

Danny, Bob, Dave, and loved ones of Thelma. I am so sorry for our loss of Thelma. I loved her too and just knowing that she was here with us kept joy in my heart. Knowing that she is in heaven and no longer has pain or suffering does give me comfort as I hope it does you too. Love, Judy
