Obituary of Lisa Lynn Foster

We’ve lost our beloved sister and mother of three children. Lisa is survived by daughter Danell, son Jonas, and son Jerod Foster all of Spanaway. Also survived by beloved brother Don Phillips/ Carmen from Tacoma, sisters Carolyn Herrington and Wilma Gassin both of Spanaway. Lisa is also a beloved grandmother to Deanna and Jenna both of Spanaway. Lisa, growing up had a very vivid imagination as a child. She loved to play and pretend. She loved the great northwest outdoors, coastal beaches, lakes, rivers, streams, trails, natural habitat. She had a natural appreciation for flowers, trees, gardens. Lisa loved music, especially her gospel. She loved sharing it with others as well. Lisa loved to work, Lisa worked and had an extended working family at Walmart, where she worked in the sporting goods section. She was loved by all who knew her. She loved to spend time with her family and friends, she loved to laugh, she loved to fish, she loved to cook, she loved garage sales, antiques, and especially shopping. Lisa has gone to join the ones who have gone before her. Beloved husband Les Foster, beloved father and mother Dexter and Janice Phillips, brothers Robert and Dick, grandparents, Pete and Bertha Phillips, Okie and Maggie Meredith, along with numerous aunts and uncles. Lisa will be missed, but never forgotten, we would like to thank all of our family and friends for there support. Lisa will always be loved and cherished by many. She is resting and growing in his strong embrace, most importantly GOD loves her more. There will be a memorial held @ 5:00 p.m. April 16th. Location: The Elk Plain Grange, 21817 Mountain HWY E., Spanaway, WA 98387, next to the post office on hwy 7.
