Born November 2, 1932 in Tate County, Mississippi and passed away December 13, 2009 in Tacoma, Washington surrounded by her loving family. Rosie is survived by her 2 sons, Harrison (Christina), Wilson (Cora); daughter, Linda (Michael)Rivera; 5 sisters, Purity Cole, Ida Darling, Beatrice McKinney, Ruby Massey, Emma Merriweather; 2 brothers, Jack Wooten, Robert Lee Wooten Preceded in death by her husband Willie Ferguson and her two sons, Eddie and Willie Ferguson Jr., brother, James Wooten and B.W. Wooten;Freida Norris and numerous grandchildren and extended family. Funeral service to be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at Lakeview Chapel, 4606 108th St. SW, Lakewood, WA. Viewing 9-10AM before the service. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Tacoma, WA. Arrangements by Edwards Memorial Center 253-566-1008.
