Things I did not have time to say at your service, Mom... I am my mother's daughter. I've heard these words a lot throughout my life. When I was a child I didn't undertand it at all. As a slightly rebellious teenager I still didn't understand it but I knew I didn't like it. Even still as an adult, I started having those moments that a lot of us have... when you're doing or saying something and suddenly it hits you...'Oh no, I'm just like my mother!' Then as I got to know you over the years, Mom, I came to truly appreciate you. Your compassion. Your caring. How you could be a free spirit and yet still be down to earth and practical. How when you had an interest in something you gave it your all. Your motherly instincts that told you I wasn't really going to a 'skate' party. Your calm demeanor, rarely showing anger. How whenever I asked you a question, no matter the topic, you would always give me a straight forward answer. Your grace and good attitude while fighting your illness, all the while keeping your dignity and still always having a smile for everyone. You were, simply, a great lady. Mom, it is for those reasons and many, many more, that now I say I can only hope I am my mother's daughter. I love you and miss you, Mom.

You are in our prayers. I first met Barbara when she was about 8 years old and living with her parents and two older sisters. One of which became my wife. Barbara was the flower girl at our wedding in 1947. She will always be my little sister. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Rest in our Lord and God.

I was acquainted with Barbara and her family when we were kids and I remember her as she is in the picture. After school we went our separate ways. Over the past couple of years I have become acquainted with Melody Roswell through Lochridge family research. May all your wonderful memories be of comfort.

We both were dsorry to hear of Barb's passing but at the same time took solace in knowing that her family were there to enfold her. Now she can rest in peace and without pain. We shall miss her too. Kathy has many sweet memories of her Ant Barb. Respectfully, John and Kathy Reinking
