Obituary of Robert Lynn Brokman

Robert was born and raised in Underwood, Iowa to Percy and Gretchen Brokman. He attended both the University of Iowa and Creighton University. Bob found his place in Radio advertising, where his career spanned over 40 years taking him and his family from Omaha, NE to Portland, OR, Honolulu, HI, Minneapolis, MN and eventually retiring in Tacoma. His wonderful story telling, sense of humor and love of sports is what he will be remembered for the most. He was loved and will be missed by his family, Kathryn (Cas) his wife of 54 years, his son and daughter in-law Mark and Mica, his daughter and son in-law Kristy and Jim (Nicole), his granddaughter and her husband and children, Kendra, Jay, Zachary and Carter McCoy. To honor his wishes, a private service will be held for family June 22nd at New Tacoma Cemetery. He fought the good fight. We honor his courage. Aloha “Radio Bob.”
