Mom-you were loved by many and will truly be missed. We all know you are in a better place and now you are visiting with dad. Of the many wonderful traits you had, alot of us girls (multiple generations) have been blessed with your stubbornness and independence. It isn't a bad thing though. You raised 6 great kids and got the opportunity to see many of your grandkids and great-grandkids born and raised. I am very fortunate to have a mom that was very truthful even when it hurt - I never had to guess what was on your mind. I love you mom and will always keep special thoughts and moments near and dear to my heart. Until we meet again..... Love, your baby, Dawna

What do I say. I know that you are in a better place now and probably hanging out with Grandpa. I just wish you could have gotten better and been able to enjoy your last few years. I am going to miss you a lot. Have a beer with Grandpa for me. I will see you again someday. I love you Grandma. RIP

We would like to extend to the entire Smotherman family our sincere sympathy in the loss of your mom & grandmother,Jeannie. She was an amazing woman who was always there with a shoulder to cry on or a hand out if you needed it. I will remember all the good times, holidays and especially the camping trips..no one could ever top her camp site!! Although we will not beable to attend the memorial service, tomorrow I'll be making one of her best dishes she shared 'FRIED CABBAGE'!!! We will miss our 'second mom' and special friend. You are all in our prayers at this very difficult time. God bless you all & God bless Jeannie. Love, Chris & Sue
