We must remember that Grandpa would not want us to be terribly sad, even though we are. He is on a new adventure with his great grandchildren that were eagerly awaiting him. He has all his laughter and stories to share with them now. We will be united again, of this I am sure. Until we meet again, I won't forget my wonderful memories with him. The swans, the blue jays and that big yellow raft we used as our slip and slide! Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We love you.

I have always appreciated John's sense of humor and his dry wit. I remember when he first came to the clinic he beeped the horn on his walker and I thought 'Oh my what have we here? A crazy man!' That was the best part of his outgoing personality....We will all miss the beep of his horn to tell us that he come through the door for his appointment. We will always miss you John - Heidi and all the staff at the Allenmore Coumadin Clinic.

I have always appreciated John's unique sense of humor and his dry wit. The Coumadin Clinic will never be the same without John beeping his horn at us to move! We will miss him deeply.

But who was this man of many lives And were there more than nine? How many times did he rally and rage Determined to stay for as long as he could Determined to live on eternally Could he would But the body is only so strong like a face With the spirit or mind it can never keep pace Like lifes simple pleasures, the birds and the bees The scent of the forest, the rustle of trees A chocolate cake, a hug or a squeeze Here for a moment Cherished but brief Some part of it flees, We remember with grief But also with gratitude For God has a purpose But also with hope For God has a plan In those very next steps, In that airy next being He will lift the veil of a destiny So each can become What no other can Your light will shine, John, All through the forest Your light will shine, All through the trees Your light will shine In the eyes of your loved ones Your light will shine and ride on the breeze And now with each breath With each smile, With each tear, Days fine or dark And in fond remembrances In our prayers and our hopes In our hearts Youre still here Melanie Kirk-Stauffer
