Just the other day, Jonathan wanted to stand on my feet and dance. I asked him where he learned to do that and he said, 'Brooke's dad taught me that.' What I know of Jim is this-- he loved his family. I enjoyed seeing him with Janeen and Brooke. He adored his wife and was proud of his son. His enthusiasm to have fun and enjoy his family radiated from him. I am glad to have known him and I pray his memory will be a blessing to those who knew him. My sincerest sympathy goes out to Janeen and Brooke and the rest of Jim's family that I did not know. You are in my prayers.

Jim and I want to thank you all for your thoughts and prayers and help over the last 8 months. Jim was constantly thanking God for the people in his life, and he so appreciated everyones generosity. Even in his last days he couldn't stop talking about how much people had done for us. So here is one more THANK YOU from Jim, and one from me as well. Jim I love you and miss you everyday. See you soon ;o)

I am sorry for your loss. I haven't seen Jim in many years but in the years we were close were good times. Jim was always smiling and joking. He also had this positive energy that would radiant off of him. I think back with all my experiences with him & friends.. all I can do is laugh.

Jim and I grew up together and shared many intense moments at some of the hardest times of our development. Jim became a great adventurer who experienced life to its fullest, every moment of every day. I owe a great deal to Jim, for many of my happiest memories are of the times that we spent together. I will miss his friendship.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. You don't know me, but I am an old friens of Jim's from the early 90's. I was homeless and Jim let me move in with him, he fed me and he even gave me some of his clothes. If you read Matthew 25, that is a perfect representation of what Jesus expects of us as Christians. Jim taught me a lot about life. I will never forget him. My only regret is that I had no idea he had become a believer. I had moved from Washington to Arkansas in 94, and accepted Christ myself. Please know that Jim helped shape me into what I have become today. God bless you and your family, and rest in the fact that the seperation is only temporary.

I am in disbelief that such a young, vibrant person has left this Earth so early in his lifetime. Jim was an amazing man that was a big part of my life for many years. He was always such a caring friend, putting his friends' happiness before his own. I remember him 'walking' the Sound to Narrows with me a couple of times, when I know he'd rather be 'running' - but that's the kind of person he was. Jim came from a wonderful, loving family and I'm happy to hear that he found true love in his new wife and two children. Jim touched so many lives, and even though I haven't talked to him in over 5 years, I never stopped thinking about him. I will never forget you, Jim Allen! My love and prayers are with you and your family . . .

Jim, I miss you greatly and I will thank God every day that I was able to be your friend. I will always remember all of the great times I shared with you and all of the wonderful things you taught me. I truely feel I am a better person having had you as a part of my life. You are the most awesome example of human spirit and vitality. Anyone who knew you even for a week or twenty years has been touched in a way they will never forget. Thank you for everything you gave to me and to everyone else in your life. I love you and I will see you in Heaven.

What a beautiful person. I can't express enough how much joy and happiness Jim brought to me and everyone who knew him. I've never heard Jims voice or saw him without having a smile on my face. The twinkle in his big blue eyes, the warm smile, and his fun loving character was always something to look forward to. I still have a voice message from him I won't erase. Jim will be very missed by everyone who knew him. I'm thankful he is no longer in pain, and I'm thankful the time he did have was spent with so many loved ones and to know how happy he was. I send my blessings to his family and friends. We'll miss you Jim, but you will never leave our hearts.
