Obituary of Derek Lee Prottas

Derek was born in Okinawa, Japan on May 19, 1965 and passed away on March 21, 2010 in Tacoma WA. He is survived by a brother, Lance, a stepmom, 4 stepsisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Derek was everyone’s friend. He was a generous, kind, loving and caring person. Being raised by a career soldier, he was able to see a lot of the world at a young age. After settling down for his high school years, he made many friends. Derek was loved by his family and friends. He will be deeply missed.
