Obituary of Anne Mae Easler

Anne Easler Born 9/21/48: went to be with her heavenly father on 3/14/12 after a brave and hard fought battle with leukemia. While the family and friends left behind will miss her deeply, we take comfort in the fact that she is rejoicing with God. Try as we might, there are no words to express what a wonderful and loving mother and woman she was. She possessed a special quality that people were drawn to. To know her was to love her. Survived by her husband of nearly 40 years Curtis Easler, sister Rosie Emory and brother Red Massey, sons Doug Gilbert (Terry), Eric Gilbert (Shona), and daughter Rhonda Easler, 6 grandchildren, Grayson, Paul, Rachel, Russel, Jonathan, and Gabrielle, and 2 great grandchildren , Isabella, and Chance. Predeceased by her mother, Blanche and father, Grayson, sisters Brenda, and Josephine, and brothers Gene, John, And Junior. Also her favorite brother in law Charles Emory. Service will be held this Saturday March 24th, 12 noon at her church, The church of the Brethren, 324 E 84th St.,Tacoma, 98445. The family would like to thank the oncology staff, especially the nursing staff, at St. Joseph hospital, and our Dad, for the very special care that she received. Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away. Isaiah 51:11. Arrangements by Edwards Memorial Center 253-566-1008
