Joseph was not only my nephew, but for nearly 2 years my foster son,he was so consumed with wanting to be near his birth mother Suzzette that we werent able to fullfill the adoption, in the end he got what he wanted most, time with his birth mother, for that I am grateful, I loved him as much as I do my own children, and will always miss him, he is now in perfect peace and happiness, and shall never suffer again. I love you Joey Momma

Joseph was a very close friend to my brother at one point then they went their separate ways. Soon after that I had met him and become really good friends for awhile. Its hard to see someone so fun and exciting pass so soon. We will miss him terribly, but its good to know that he is in no more pain and resides in a better place. MAY YOU REST IN PEACE. Wendy Miler

I had many fun times hanging out with Axe and his family which gave me awesome memories to pass on to my little one when she is older. I didn't get to see Axe before he passed but now I get to remember all the good non-sick times. You will always be in my heart Axe.

I have known Joesph for about a yr and a half. He came into my hospital (St. Clair) many times, I am a house keeper there. He and I communicated threw out his stays. He is a young sweet remarkable man. He had such a wonderful personality even though he was suffering. He had told me he was so glad to have a relationship with his mother again. How excited he was to have his own room at his aunts home. As hurt as I am to know he is gone, I am Blessed to have known him. My condolences to his family and friends. P.S. Everyone Loved Him at St.Clair...!

such an awesome kid! I met Joseph when he was about 14yr old at Mary Bridge Childrens Hospital. His presents totally sparked the room. He was fun to talk to and as he grew older he became fun to look at with all the peircing and spikes. Despite his image his heart was still as big as Texas! Joseph I'll never forget your time you had here on earth, may you fly freely in paradise now.

Many of the Mary Bridge nurses, myself included, will miss seeing Joe's bright mischievious face!! He was all boy! Although he hasn't come to us for care for a couple of years, we spoke and visited him often when he was at TG. We never knew what 'costume' he would show up in next time, but we would just grin and giggle when we saw the mohawk, the red/white striped tights, the army attire, the eyeliner, etc. Joe, we miss you, we think about you and you are in our prayers.

Joseph was my foster son from March of '06 until just before his 18th birthday. We will all remember him fondly as an old soul with a kind and gentle spirit. Joe has many friends as he made them where ever he went. He was a true renaissance man as he had many and varied interests. His love of art and the Japanese culture are some examples. He was gifted in drawing tattoo art. We have some examples of his art still on our walls where he stenciled and spray painted images in his bedroom. He lived his life to the fullest with no compromises and no fear...We will miss him greatly, Rest in Peace Axe...

May you rest in peace my love. You will surely be missed by all. You were my best friend,my rock and the number one person I knew I could always count on. I could talk to you about anything and everything. You truly were a great person. You always made me smile on the worst of days.I absolutely loved every minute I got to spend with you.I just wanted you to know everytime I told you I loved you I truly ment it with all my heart and soul. I will never forget the day you came over to my house and we went four wheeling on my moms boyfriends quads boy was that fun. You took the small one and I took the big one and my moms boyfriend didnt think the small quad could really do much well you proved him wrong. I honestly thought you were gonna kill yourself going over those jumps at times. Ill also never forget the tickle wars we got into or the times we spent together just watching movies and cuddling. You truly were my everything and more. Although your passing saddens us all we all know your at least in a better place now and not in anymore pain. Your in my thoughts and prayers everyday joe. I love you and miss you so much. May you rest in peace Love always Bree

Joseph was a great man. He always knew how to make everyones day cheerful and exciting. He was a great friend and a loyal one at that. I learned a lot about him when I was engaged to him and I loved him. It hurt me when he was gone. Our relationship did not last long but we stayed friends and always helped each other out. I stayed with him a few times in the hospital and seeing him so sick just broke my heart. I am so glad he is no longer in pain and cant wait til I get to the pearly gates and get to see him. He will forever be in my heart.
