Obituary of Mary Folden

Known as Sue by all her friends and family, she was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina. She married Deane “David” Folden on October 17th, 1964 and moved to Tacoma, WA soon after. Sue spent her life helping others as a Registered Nurse with St. Clare Hospital in Lakewood until she retired in 2008. Sue and David had spent the last few years enjoying retirement and snow-birding to Arizona each winter. Sue touched so many people’s lives as is evidenced by the number of friends she accumulated over the years. She is survived by her husband David, their four children Gina, Angie, Jimmy, and Paula. She also leaves behind her two brothers David and Michael, ten grandchildren (Amber, Tabitha, Megan, Samantha, Bobbi, Will, Chantel, Laura, Jonah, & Olivai), three great-grandchildren (Akaiya, Bailey, & Ryder), and several nephews, nieces, aunts and uncles. In order to celebrate the life of this special woman, we will be having a gathering at her home on Sunday April 29th at 1pm.
