Obituary of Kimberly Lynn Jagger

"Kimmers" Kim was called home to our heavenly father on March 30, 2012. Kim passed away at hospice house peacefully with her mom Sharon McMackin, dad Clyde Svedine, sister Shanna Bailey and son's Doug Jagger and James Jagger along with Aunt Kathy by her side. Kim was diagnosed with breast cancer stage four in December 2010. Kim fought hard and was even humorous after losing her hair. All along Kim demonstrated "faith and hope" that, she would have more time. Never did Kim say "why, me" and continued many chemo's until cancer had invaded her little body. Kim was beautiful, articulate and bright with a loving heart. Through Kim's "journey" she was no longer able to sing...now Kim's beautiful voice will be singing in the heavenly choir. Kim left behind a sister Shanna Bailey who, she was so proud of her lives accomplishments.Son's Doug and James Jagger are Kim's pride and joy. Not being able to see her son's marry and have children was a great sadness for Kim. As Kim's mom her journey allowed me to care for her with the true meaning of loving my daughter and a "time to let go." Kim brought many "gifts" to our family through her journey. Kim. my beautiful daughter is no longer suffering and is at peace. Our family will miss her everyday. As a small child Kim would say "mama I love you passed the stairs". Now at night I see Kim's star shinning brightly down on me and our family. Kim goes with me in my heart and I feel honored to have experienced Kim's first breath of life and share my beautiful Kim's last breath. Baby girl I love you ...more!!!!! Thank you for coming into my life and teaching me about love, forgiveness, compassion but, the best gift for me is you loving me. Kim's "celebration of her life" with family and friends will be preformed by Kim's Aunt Barbara Attaway from Florida. Kim's dad, Clyde Svedine and son's Doug and James Jagger will preform music. It will be a day of sharing wonderful stories of Kim's life and journey. Kim has found a place in all of our hearts . The gift of unconditional love we all have for her has been given to all as a gift. Remember that life gives us all challenges and we do rise above them in time. A lesson of life that for those of us that shared Kim's life is how short life is and how long it is also. I gave Kim a piece of my heart as she gave me a piece of hers. I also shared with Kim a poem that my late grandmother used to say to me all the time and for those reading this I shall share it with you also. Don't Worry About The Future The future Is All We Have The Future Will Soon Be Present And The Present Shall Soon Be Past What Is Hidden In The Snow Comes Forth In The Thaw Be Honest Always ~ Kim's Dad ~ As time has moved so quickly these last couple of weeks I found some things that Kim kept and one of these was this poem that I had written on a card for her. I am very touched that she read this and kept it. We will all miss Kim and keep good memories of her in our hearts she called me dad since the day I met her and at first I was a bit overwhelmed but as the snow melted I found that there was a child a grown woman a spirit that wanted and needed me so much, that I was very proud of the fact she chose to call me dad. I stood by her side even in the rough time just as well as in the good and I will continue to be here for her forever. Kim I am Very Proud That You Chose to Call Me Dad! Always!
