When Aunt Angela was in a room she had a silent presence. Her kind and gentle spirit brought warmth to those around her. Quick to smile, faster to share a hearty laugh - her welcome was genuine, her heart glad. Who else makes radish sandwiches anyway - that is a one of a kind! -Rest peacefully dear Aunt! The poem by Linda Ellis 'The Dash' is perfect to describe the life of Aunt Angela. If you want to read the entire poem, click the link at the end; There was a man who stood to speak At the funeral of a friend He referred to the dates on her tombstone From the beginning to the end He noted that first came her date of her birth And spoke the following date with tears But he said what mattered most of all Was the dash between those years For that dash stands for all the time That she spent alive on earth. And now only those who loved her Know what that little line is worth. For it matters not how much we own; The cars the house the cash What matters is how we live and love And how we spend our dash. So think about this long and hard. Are there things you'd like to change? For you never know how much time is left That can still be rearranged. If we could just slow down enough To consider what's true and real And always try to understand The way other people feel. We'd be less quick to anger And show appreciation more And love the people in our lives Like we've never loved before. http://gerryvitacca.com/Poems/TheDashPoem.aspx

To all of my cousins and your Families, I am so sorry for the loss of your Mother. I know this has been a trying time for all of you and I am so glad I got to spend time with my God Mother and all of you. I remember some really good times with her and my Mom when we would go to the casino or other gatherings. I always had so much fun out with the Sisters. She will be missed but we all know she is in a better place now. My Love to all of you, Debbie

Sincere condolences from my family. I remember playing cards at the Held house in Midland many years ago and remember Angela as the best hostess and generous to a fault. She left this earth too early and I will miss her as will all who knew her.
