Obituary of Dennis James Donini

Dennis James Donini February 12th, 1953- May 7th, 2009 In loving memory of a man that saw no boundaries and lived his short time on earth to the fullest with the people he loved and cared for deeply. On May 7, 2009, Dennis James Donini took his final breaths and was set free of pain and the constant struggle he endured with his battle with liver failure and complications ailing from a recent diagnosis of cancer. He leaves behind the love of his life and beautiful wife Alicia Donini, 6 children and 8 grandchildren: Jose (Shawn) and 3 children; Michael, Anthony and Jesenia; Lorena (Jason) and daughter Eleeyah; Manuel (Roxanne) and 2 children Vincent and Alexis; Emilio, Brandy and daughter Alyssa, Wendy and son Gage. He also leaves behind 4 brothers, Steven Donini (Monica), Vincent Donini (Esther), Frank Donini, and Richard Donini (Sherry) along with numerous nieces and nephews. Dennis also has relatives in the California, New York and Minnesota areas. He was a man with a big heart. He will be remembered as a person who would tell some of the strangest, yet funniest stories, and as a person who shared some of the wildest of ideas, countless memories as he taught his children to enjoy the outdoors and to be adventurous. His grandchildren remember him for his quirky personality and all the silly little things G’pa would say and do. He took great pride in serving his country as a Marine in the Vietnam War...you would often hear him chant, “Ooh rah-ooh rah!” He had a love for cars and rebuilding engines and motors, he would many times find another car to work on before completing the one(s) he started. He was very proud of all his children and enjoyed his recent time spent with his daughters Brandy, Wendy and grandchildren Alyssa and Gage. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten by those who knew and loved him! He is preceded in death by his father Vincent and mother Penny. A memorial to celebrate Dennis’s life will be announced.
