I'm so sorry for your loss. I remember Joe as a loving, little boy and he enjoyed visiting Ralph and I when we lived in Tacoma. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Helen Ricketts Lacey, Washington

My husband Marvin and I, feel priveleged to have known Joe. His wondeful sense of humor and his compassionate and generous nature. His passion for music and and the joy it brought to others. There is a void in our lives now, that Joe used to fill. You will never be forgotten our dear friend. We miss you.

My best memories of my grandfather of him 'dancing me to sleep' and playing the piano with him. I also love all his tractors, trucks and tools. Going to Grandpa's was always special, lots of love, fun things to do (play with my cousins, jump on the trampoline, swing set) and watch everyone on the lake. Grandpa was good at getting me to fall asleep, finding great toys(my very own log play house)and sending my dad home with rocking horses and other treasures he would collect or hunt out. I'm happy for the memories I have and the pictures that were took documenting our life together. Love you, Collin

Joe will truly be missed. He was a loving and caring person. I will never forget how he would come to the assisted living home my mom,and his Aunt Ruth was in. He would sit down at the piano and play for everyone there to enjoy and sing along. This would happen every time he came. He touched their hearts and made a lot of people happy. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the family.
