Gladys, You continue to be in my prayers. You did a wonderful thing for your daughter and God will bless you for that. As my Mom's best friend, you are like a second mother to me. I love you, and Jesus does too!

I have memories of last summer when I got to be with Donna at Gladys's. I'm really glad that she found Jesus. Now I know she is in heaven.

Dearest Nicole, It was a pleasure to spend time with Donna in her last two weeks of life, she was very accepting of what was happening and seemed at peace with her life and family. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your 'journey' of life at this time. Love you, Mom

Nicole, I am sorry to hear of your loss. My prayers and thoughts are with you at this time. I ran into your mom a few years ago, when I asked about you she smiled, said you were doing great...I could see that she was proud of you and you were fine! If there is anything I can do, please let me know.

I have just finished watching the beautiful video Nicky had made of my sisters life. I want everyone to realize that the last picture is of us celebrating what should have been my sisters 58th birthday. She didn't quite make it but she sure gave it a whirl. I will miss her always!!! Doug and Nicky she will always be with you and she was very very proud of you both!!! And Nanni until we meet again remember how much you were loved by all your family. Penny

I worked with Donna at Union Bank for several years, and later at Frank Hayes' Bank. Donna was always full of surprises, and I will never forget that laugh. She had a good heart. My sympathies to the family. She loved her children very much. She died way too soon.

Dear Doug and Nicole, I had the honor of working for your mother 18 years ago. On occassion bumping into her here and there. I regret not having told her what she meant to me in those days and how many hurdles she helped me cross. She certainly was a 'real kick' ,as she often referred to others. Her blue eyes are unforgettable and her laugh I could feel even today. I hope Donna knows that I still love her and will never forget her grace. If ever you need support from me, I am here as your mom had been for me all those years ago. Peace! Annette ( Vig) Hale

It was a privilege for me to get to know Donna in the last months of her life. I saw both the fiery spirit in her as well as the softer, vulnerable side. It was fun to watch the video of her life. She produced you, Nicole, a beautiful treasure. For that many of us will always be grateful. I'm thankful that Donna is now with Her Savior and that she is truly at rest. Love you tons. Lois

Donna was one in a million. I persuaded her she would be a perfect fit for the challenges of working in the liquor stores. Her warmth, hardworking cando spirit and personality have remained in my memory long after she left. We will never agin be able to visit Bella Ninas without expecting her to be at the bar playing pulltabs and grinning ear to ear. My thoughts and prayers are with you for your great loss.

Nicole and Doug, I want you both to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers at this time. I just viewed the video and it is priceless. Seeing the pictures from your childhood flooded me with memories. I know our lives have drifted apart over the course of the years but I remember the good times and I love both of you very much. God Bless you both. Your cousin, Kelley
