Obituary of Brent Philip Ehnat

Brent Philip Ehnat passed away peacefully Saturday, October 17, 2009. Born 9/1/1966, Brent was a life long resident of the Gig Harbor/Tacoma area. From a young age, Brent was a natural athlete and excelled at baseball and wrestling. His love for all sports continued throughout his life, but he loved the game of baseball with a passion. Brent’s natural wit and infectious laughter made him easy to love. He treasured the friendships he made though out his life and was quick to share his memories with his many stories. Brent’s most treasured moments centered on his adored son, Glenn, who was the light of his life. He was a proud father and cherished every moment he spent with his son. Brent leaves behind his beloved son, Glenn Allen. He is also survived by his dearly loved grandparents, Maggie & Ray Anderson; his mother, Nikki Bridges; his father and step-mother, John and Laura Ehnat; brother, Johnnie; sister, Brenda; uncle, Lyn (Joan) Bridges; uncle, Ed (Peggy) Ehnat; and his best friend and uncle, Craig (Maggie) Ehnat. Brent will remain in the hearts of his nephew Tanner and his niece Alli, Glenn’s mother Andrea, and his much loved cousins. He will also be missed by his extended family, Glenn’s childhood friends and teammates, as well as all of the many friends who loved him. Brent and his family would like to extend a sincere thank you to his caregivers over the years at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Please join us for a celebration of Brent’s life from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 25th, 2009, at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 4519-112th Street East, Tacoma.
